Renowned New Testament scholar Gordon Fee recently passed into glory, but a former student tells a story about Fee that reminds us of the resurrection.

John Crosby received his Master of Divinity degree at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in 1982 and recalls this tale from Dr. Fee’s classroom:

“Dr. Fee climbing up on a desk on the first day of a New Testament Literature class and saying, “This is not a class on New Testament! This is a class on immortality! Some day you will hear ‘Fee is dead.’ Do not believe it! He is singing with his Lord and his King!!” “

What a glorious truth for all believers in Christ!
