Answering the Big Questions

Book Recommendations

On March 7, 2026, Apologetics for the Church hosted the Answering the Big Questions conference at Ephrata Community Church in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Throughout the day, speakers Mark Farnham, PhD; Mark Lamontia, M.S.; and Jeff Mindler, MTh, addressed some of the most common questions and objections raised about the Christian faith, equipping believers to think more clearly about what they believe and why.

Many attendees asked for recommended books to help them continue learning about these subjects. The list below gathers suggestions from our speakers and organizes them according to the topics presented at the conference. We’ve highlighted two starting points for each topic: one accessible introduction and one more in-depth work. After that, we’ve listed several other recommended books by subject matter.

We hope these resources will help you continue growing in your understanding of the Christian faith and in your confidence to discuss it thoughtfully with others!
