SESSION TITLES

BigQ evolution

What is Truth? Darwinism or Intelligent Design

Evolution is often presented as our culture’s creation story, fully explaining the origin of animals, plants, and humans. While adaptation and change over time are observable, Darwinism struggles to account for universal common ancestry and the emergence of truly new organisms. Join us to explore these limitations thoughtfully—and discover how Intelligent Design provides a more robust explanation.

BigQ ai

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of AI, and a Christian Response

AI brings remarkable good—advancing medicine, learning, and communication—yet harbors real threats: deepfakes, pervasive surveillance, screen addiction, unemployment, social credit, virtual escapism, and the question of AGI. In this discussion, we’ll explore the full picture and consider a thoughtful Christian response rooted in wisdom and hope.

BigQ Gospels

Are the Gospels Reliable?

Can the accounts of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection be trusted as historically accurate? We’ll explore the evidence for the Gospels while considering how our worldview shapes our understanding of history, testimony, and divine revelation.

BigQ death

Is There an Answer for the Problem of Evil and Suffering?

How can we reconcile evil and suffering with a good and all-powerful God? This session addresses these questions, showing how the Christian worldview uniquely explains the reality of suffering.

BigQ engage

How Can I Effectively Engage Unbelievers with the Gospel?

Sharing the gospel isn’t just about evidence or sharing personal experience. It’s about addressing the foundational beliefs that shape how people see the world. Learn practical strategies for guiding conversations toward the truth of Christ.

What is Apologetics?

In 1 Peter 3:15 we are called to prepare to “give an answer” for the hope within us. The Greek word translated in this phrase is apologia, a legal defense against a false charge.

Our loving and non-confrontational approach aims to help Christians answer the questions and objections unbelievers raise against the faith.

There are different types of apologetics, contributing in different ways to the defense of the Christian faith. Our preferred take is Presuppositionalism. By listening carefully and asking good questions, we get to the heart of an unbeliever’s obstacles to accepting Christ. We can then reveal the irrationality of their worldview before presenting the truth of the Christian faith.

Are you prepared to handle questions and doubts about your faith?
